Description

A custom-made TV cabinet. The furniture is shaped in such a way that it fits around and in the mantelpiece. The furniture includes two drawers, two cabinets and an open shelf section.

DIY: TV cabinet conversion

The two outer cabinet sections are built as separate square boxes. Then the frame for the center console was assembled, which can be slid exactly into the mantelpiece. Cabinets placed on both sides and attached to each other by means of the top (which itself has the exact shape of the chimney). Drawers are separate due to chimney parts protruding (see photos). All connections are blind, through oblique drilling at the back or bottom of shelves.
