Description by Sven
I built these sound absorbers to improve the room acoustics in the living room or TV room. They consist of a box with suitable acoustic foam and a frame, which was then covered with fabric.
How I made this project
Using black-painted MDF, I first assembled the box with interior dimensions of 50 cm x 150 cm, which was later filled with acoustic foam. To make the screws as inconspicuous as possible, I used only black screws. I then built a 5 cm wide frame, covered it with fabric, and attached it to the inside of the box. It is important to pre-drill all holes to avoid the risk of the MDF cracking.
The dimensions
62.4 cm x 162.4 cm
The MDF wood made a good impression. Everything was cut correctly and finished neatly.
