In this DIY project, Koen shows how he tackled two very fun projects. After he had thought out his project, he ordered custom-sawn pine carpentry panels online. This way he could start his job immediately. Read more about his experience below.
Description of Koen
We have made 2 items, a desktop for a sit-stand desk and a children's table that can be used both low and high.
How I made this project
Desk:
1) Measurements taken and corners removed due to... open cupboards next to it and bump against them when passing through to the adjacent laundry room
2) desktop edges rounded and stained
3) installed on base and voila
Children's table:
1) sizes determined based on dollhouse that will be added
2) Reinforced triangles placed in the corners
3) Round holes of various sizes made in the sides for a playful effect + to put things through for the kids
4) All edges + holes sanded around so the kids can't get hurt
5) Screwed together and then stained
Dimensions of my DIY project
Desk: 180.0 cm wide and 80.0 cm deep
Table: 80.0 cm wide and 30.0 cm high and deep
